An Australian native, Coast Rosemary has finely textured gray green foliage somewhat similar in appearance to rosemary. Tough, easy to care for and drought tolerant once established. Coast Rosemary is a nice alternative to boxwood in the waterwise landscape. It can be sheared to shape and forms a neat symmetrical mound of dense foliage with very little pruning. It can be planted in containers, used as an accent or planted in groups to be trained as a hedge. Prefers well drained soil. Small white blooms appear year round in mild climates and in late winter and early spring inland.
