A US Native Plant, Compact Texas Sage forms a dense, rounded mound of bright silver foliage erupting in purple flowers that contrast perfectly with the pale leaves. Tough and drought tolerant once established, a great choice for the waterwise landscape. Attractive to butterflies and beneficial pollinators, Texas Sage requires well drained soil. It grows naturally in alkaline conditions and may not thrive in acidic soil without the addition of amendments such as dolomitic lime.
