Agave titanota ‘Black and Blue’ is a Kelly Griffin selection of unknown parentage. Prized for stunning blue color, an appealing rounded form, and black teeth that start out yellow and become darker with age. Black and Blue is a standout among hybrid agaves and a favorite among collectors. Originating from seed collected in Oaxaca, Black and Blue has low water needs and prefers well drained soil. While it can be acclimated to full sun, like all agaves it may need a period of adjustment when being moved between locations with different levels of light exposure.
