One of the prettiest agaves for containers, Blue Wave Agave has a compact form and lovely undulating leaves with a glaucous blue gray color. Soft spines create a serrated appearance along the leaf margins but are not as fierce as they appear. Best suited for mild climates, it prefers well drained soil and full coastal sun or partial sun inland. Requiring protection in cold winter climates, leaves will be damaged below 30F.
