Firesprite Grevillea is an Australian native that forms an upright screen of long green foliage and year round flowers that are irresistible to hummingbirds. Excellent as a flowering accent or as a foundation plant at the back of the border. Grevillea are heat and drought tolerant once established. Fast growing and low maintenance, they prefer well drained soil and may be damaged by hard frost. Rarely requiring pruning or feeding, Grevilleas should only be given phosphorus free fertilizers.
