An excellent pine tree for smaller landscapes, Frank’s Columnar Austrian Pine is very upright and narrow in form. Ideal planted as a row hedge or screen and excellent as a contrast among shorter more rounded plants. Its dense evergreen canopy is formed by strong upright branches with stiff dark green needles. Very hardy in cold weather, it requires only light pruning to maintain its candlestick shape.
