Magyar Ginkgo is a narrow upright fruitless selection with beautiful fan shaped green leaves that turn bright golden yellow in fall. Slow growing, but ultimately growing quite tall, Ginkgos are best planted where they have sufficient space to reach full size. Prefers moist, sandy, well-drained soils. Tolerant of a wide range of conditions, including both alkaline and acidic soils and compacted soils. Also tolerant of saline conditions, air pollution and heat.
