Hana-Jiman Camellia is a strong grower with beautiful dark green glossy leaves and an upright spreading canopy on a framework of sturdy branches. It produces 3-inch single petaled flowers with white crepe like petals edged in pink with yellow stamens. Over time it can be trained into a small tree and makes an excellent evergreen screen. Prefers a well drained rich soil and a deep mulch to keep the roots cool. Feed with an acid fertilizer after blooming.
