Mondo Grass forms short evergreen clumps of blue green foliage and is useful as a ground cover in difficult shady locations and under landscape plants and trees. Useful in containers and particularly attractive in mass plantings. Spreading underground, it can be invasive in moist southern climates but is safe to plant in more temperate zones where it adapts to a variety of light conditions and tolerates wet soil and salt air. Protect from harsh afternoon sun inland.
