Tough and drought tolerant, Little Red Oleander is a dwarf selection that stays small and compact. Sun loving and vibrantly colorful, it features scarlet red flowers from late spring to fall. Prune in early fall to encourage profuse flowers the following year, otherwise Oleanders require minimal care. Plant in average well drained soil with minimal water once established. Fertilizing is not required. All parts of the Oleander plant are poisonous. To prevent skin irritation, wear gloves and long sleeves when pruning.
