Ettinger Avocado is an early season producer with Type B flowers, useful for pollinating Type A flowered varieties such as Hass, Reed, Holiday and Lamb. Ettinger produces thin skinned glossy fruits with light green flesh that matures to yellow. Developed in Israel, Ettinger is a vigorous grower and prolific producer. Fruits average 9-16 oz and are narrow and oblong in shape. Ettinger has very good flavor and is cold tolerant to 28F.
