Phoenicia Azalea has large single flowers in vibrant lavender purple. It forms a large evergreen screen and makes a showy accent or container plant. Selected for sun tolerance, it will still appreciate some protection from hot dry conditions. Like all azaleas, Phoenicia prefers rich, well drained acidic soil, deep mulch and acidic fertilizer after blooming.
