Sierra Starr Red Fairy Duster is tough and rugged yet highly ornamental with repeated flushes of prolific red powder puff flowers that are irresistible to hummingbirds. The fine feathery foliage remains evergreen to USDA Zone 9 and will die back to the roots in Zone 8. Thrives in heat and difficult locations. Drought tolerant once established. Beautiful planted in groups and interspersed among boulders and other waterwise plants.
