Native to the Southwestern United States, Silver Ponyfoot is a desert adapted Dichondra that thrives in heat and sun. Small silver leaves are metallic in appearance and spread on long runners, making it perfect for a hanging basket or spilling over a wall. Attractive as a ground cover and excellent for erosion control. It will not tolerate heavy foot traffic and is somewhat frost tender, dying back in hard freezes.
