First produced in Porterville, California in 1895, Bearss Seedless Lime is nearly thornless and grows vigorously to a small sized tree or landscape shrub with a densely branched rounded crown. Excellent in a container or as a screen at the back of a border, it is a heavy bearer of large sized limes in winter and spring. Also known as Persian Lime or Tahitian Lime, it is actually a cross between a key lime and a lemon.
