Bred for its compact dwarf size, seedlessness and superior flavor in an easy to peel package, ‘Tango’ Mandarin Orange is a prolific fruiter and is an excellent choice as a patio or container tree. Often marketed under the brand names of Cuties or Delites, Tango Mandarins produce deeply colored orange fruit from January through spring. For highest next season fruit set, it is best to harvest completely prior to the end of the flowering period, which usually means mid-late March. Leaving fruit on the tree past the current flowering period may cause alternate year fruit bearing in future seasons.
