‘Li’ Jujube is a large fruiting selection of Chinese date with sweet crisp fruits that can be enjoyed fresh or dried. Self fruitful, the tree has thorned branches and requires a long hot summer for best productivity. Fruits are ready for harvest in early fall. Harvest when the skin turns yellowish green and allow them to continue ripening off the tree to a mahogany color with wrinkled texture. Adaptable to heat and drought once established.
