Madagascan Palm is a premier caudiciform collectors plant that is closely related to plumeria and adenium. Thick succulent stems form stout trunks that are covered with stiff sharp spines. In ideal conditions they can grow as tall as 20 feet tall, but planted in a container they are unlikely to exceed 4-6 feet. Cold hardy to 28F. Madagascan Palm is toxic.
