Chansonette Camellia has brilliant double petaled pink flowers that appear profusely in the cool season. With dark glossy leaves, Chansonette is a low grower with a weeping habit making it ideal as a low hedge or ground cover. Camellias are especially useful on the North side of the house, which is often a challenging area for home gardeners to fill with color. Camellias prefer rich, acidic, moist soil with a thick layer of insulating mulch.
