Triple Crown Blackberry is named for its three superior traits: flavor, productivity and vigor. This self-fruitful variety can produce up to 30 lbs of fruit per plant in the summer and is excellent for canning and eating fresh. The large, firm berries have smaller seeds than wild varieties and the canes are thornless which make for easier picking. This variety is heat tolerant and does benefit from trellising due to its longer canes and heavy fruit load.
