Thornless Boysenberry is a complex hybrid of blackberry, raspberry, dewberry and loganberry. It has very large berries with minimal seeds and intense tangy sweet flavor. The thornless rambling canes benefit from support which will also make picking easier. Boysenberries are excellent for fresh eating, baking and canning. Boysenberries produce fruit on second year growth. Leave young canes and remove those which have already produced to encourage new growth the following season.
