‘Blonde Ambition’ Blue Grama Grass is a popular and hard to find cultivar of native grass that makes an excellent ornamental due to it’s tough nature and hardiness. More tolerant of heat, cold and dry conditions than many grasses it has small flag like flowers that add textural interest to the landscape. Beautiful in rock gardens, borders and dry stream beds, it is also useful in containers and mixed in the border with other waterwise perennials. Prefers full sun and well drained soil. Tolerates mild drought once established. Cut back foliage in late winter.
