Afghan Pine is a tough desert pine with an attractive airy canopy of long, soft dark green needles. Upright and pyramidal in shape, it has strong wind resistant branches and a clean fresh scent. Afghan Pine is resistant to hot dry weather and withstands drought once established. It is ideal planted as a windbreak and adapts to difficult locations and a variety of soil types as long as drainage is good.
