Fast growing with dense, tidy foliage, ‘Green Giant’ Arborvitae makes an excellent windbreak or screen especially when planted in rows or staggered groups. Upright and pyramidal with evergreen finely textured leaves, it has strong roots and is resistant to disease. Requiring no pruning, it responds well to shearing and can also be shaped into a hedge. To achieve the look of a dense wall of foliage, space individual trees 5-6 feet apart.
