Leyland Cypress is an excellent choice for a fast growing hedge or privacy screen. Evergreen with fine feathery green needles on flattened branches. Pyramidal in form, it tolerates a range of soils and prefers full sun. Plant Leyland Cypress where it has room to spread as it eventually becomes a large tree. Easily shaped, it can be pruned or sheared as desired. Excellent as a living Christmas tree.
