Star Jasmine gives much more than it asks for. Versatile in the landscape, its glossy evergreen green leaves grow on vining branches that can be trained as a hedge or allowed to grow up a trellis. Effective as an espalier that covers a wall, it becomes covered with small star shaped flowers that fill the air with rich perfume. Easily pruned to maintain any form, it tolerates average soil and is adaptable to sun or shade. Fast growing and drought tolerant once established.
