Variegated Agave parryi truncata forms a flower-like rosette of beautiful striped leaves. An extremely rare selection, the variegated form is smaller and slower growing than the standard form and is highly sought by collectors. Preferring full sun and minimal water, agaves are tough and drought tolerant. Like all agaves, at the end of its life cycle, which lasts many years, this plant will form a tall tree like bloom stalk before dying. By this time, it will have produced a few offsets to replace itself. Plant in well drained soil, cold tolerant to 10-15F.
