Atlas Mountain Palm is a variety of Mediterranean Fan Palm that is native to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and Northwest Africa. Instead of green leaves, its fan shaped foliage is striking powder blue with pale silvery undersides. Spectacular mixed with other palms and tropicals and very ornamental as a screen. Found at high elevations in the wild, established plants are resistant to heat, cold, wind and drought as well as adaptable to a variety of soils. Avoid overhead sprinkler watering to protect the crown from rot.
