Kramer’s Supreme Camellia blooms in spring when many other Camellias have already finished. It has large double petaled red blooms that are lightly fragranced and stand out vividly against the glossy dark green foliage. Amazing in a woodland border or as a foundation plant. Camellias are excellent in difficult shady areas, such as the north area of a house, or where shade trees make it difficult for sun loving plants to grow. Like all Camellias, it prefers well drained rich soil and a deep mulch to keep its roots cool. Feed with an acid fertilizer after blooming.
