Centennial Spirit Crape Myrtle is an attractive small deciduous tree with non-fading rose red flowers and a wide rounded canopy of green foliage with great fall color. With attractive silver peeling bark, this is a tough little tree with excellent drought tolerance once established. Excellent as a small shade tree, a screen or as an colorful accent along a driveway. It can also be grown in a container and is considered a firewise alternative in areas at risk for wildfire. Bred by the University of Oklahoma, it is resistant to mildew and was selected for minimal suckering.
