String of Hearts is a collectible ornamental houseplant with charming patterned leaves and pale pink flowers. It can trail up to 12′ in length and is easily propagated. It forms a caudex under the soil which retains water and therefore is somewhat drought tolerant and does better with less water than more. Bright indirect light will help the leaves grow larger and make the plants appear more full, however direct light should be avoided as it can scorch the leaves.
