Redemption Elephant Ear is an absolute stunner with dark purple leaves that are nearly black splashed with bright fuchsia centers that become more and more prominent as the plants mature. Colocasia are tropical natives that love moisture and warm weather. They do well both indoors and outdoors and can even be planted in ponds and and boggy areas where water tends to collect. Although the spectacular heart shaped leaves are frost tender, colocasia is an herbaceous perennial that resprouts from the base when warm weather returns.
