A relative of Yucca, Desert Spoon forms a dense rosette of narrow leaves rising above a short stout trunk which forms slowly over time. Native to the desert southwest of the United States and Northern Mexico. Flowering occurs only once every few years. Extremely tolerant of sun and drought, Desert Spoon is a highly ornamental addition to the dry garden. Cold hardy to 0-10F.
