Dragon Tree plant has a narrow sword shaped leaves with red margins, growing upright into charming tufted “trees” that look like something from a Dr. Seuss book. They are easy to care for and long lived, requiring minimal watering by houseplant standard and not being too fussy about light. Slow growing with narrow upright form, they fit well in homes and offices and make excellent gifts. Preferring bright indirect light, but also tolerant of low-moderate light conditions. In lower light conditions, they will need longer intervals between watering. To prevent overwatering, make sure the top 1-2″ of soil are dry before adding more. Like many houseplants Dracaena are toxic to pets.
