Somewhat smaller than other River Birch species, Dura-Heat® River Birch was developed for fast growth, superior heat tolerance, pest/disease resistance and attractive foliage and bark. A Missouri native that is somewhat drought resistant, requiring only moderate water once established. This is the desirable multi-trunk form that will create an upright pyramidal canopy becoming more rounded in maturity.
