Panache Fig is also sometimes called Tiger Fig. It produces small to medium sized fruits with wonderful flavor and striking striped skin. This lovely variety can grow to a large size or easily be kept around 12 feet tall with regular pruning. Its attractiveness and smaller size make it a home garden favorite. Figs are considered drought tolerant for fruit trees, however they do need regular deep watering especially during their first year when they are establishing roots. In addition to size control, regular pruning helps ensure consistent crops as figs produce on new wood.
