One of the most popular cultivars, Long John Grevillea forms a tall upright canopy of soft needle like leaves. Long John produces dazzling coral pink colored flowers repeatedly throughout most of the year. Excellent as cut flowers and irresistible to hummingbirds. Perfect as a flowering accent or as a foundation plant at the back of the border. Grevillea are heat and drought tolerant once established. Fast growing and low maintenance, they prefer well drained soil and may be damaged by hard frost. Rarely requiring pruning or feeding, Grevilleas should only be given phosphorus free fertilizers.
