Pink Australian Racer is a tough fast growing ground cover that is native to Australian and well adapted to drought. A favorite in coastal conditions due to tolerance of sea spray, it is also a good choice inland where it adapts to high heat and full sun. Spreading by runners, it forms a dense emerald green carpet of small leaves and pink flowers. Prefers well drained soils and regular water during the first growing season. Once established it can tolerate periods of drought.
