Kindred Spirit® Oak is a modern hybrid of English and American oaks that was created at the University of Missouri. Developed to maintain a narrow columnar shape, Kindred Spirit is great for limited spaces and for creating screens and very tall tree hedges. A sister seedling to Regal Prince®, Kindred Spirit® is possibly the narrowest columnar oak in cultivation. The strong limbs are resistant to wind and ice and the dark green leaves are highly resistant to powdery mildew. Drought tolerant once established.
