Requiring little to no irrigation once established, Grevillea are a beautiful addition to the waterwise landscape. Red Hooks Grevillea has fine evergreen foliage and reblooming red flowers that appear throughout the year. Excellent as a flowering accent, screen or background plant. Grevillea blossoms are irresistible to hummingbirds and make great flowers for bouquets. Heat and drought tolerant once established. Grevilleas are fast growing and low maintenance. They prefer well drained soil and may be damaged by hard frost. Rarely requiring pruning, Grevilleas prefer lean soil and should only be given phosphorus free fertilizers if any at all.
