Lemony Lace® Elderberry has beautiful finely laced foliage with large clusters of white flowers that bloom early in spring. New foliage emerges red, gradually maturing to bright yellow. A large plant, it can be pruned after flowering to a more compact size if desired. Hard pruning while young will encourage fullness, but keep in mind that Sambucus blooms on old wood and minimize cutting of older growth if heavy flowering is desired. Native to North America.
