Saratoga Laurel is similar to Sweet Bay with larger more rounded leaves and a slightly smaller and more open form. With silver bark and an attractive evergreen canopy, it can be pruned to a variety of shapes and sizes making it suitable as a screen, shade tree, hedge or topiary. A male selection, ‘Saratoga’ is fruitless as well as drought tolerant once established. It is also highly resistant to pests and disease, making it an easy and carefree addition to the landscape.
