Possibly the hardiest palm, Windmill Palm is native to China where the climate is cool and sometimes even snowy. Excellent for containers and small spaces, Windmill Palm forms a tight compact canopy of attractive fan shaped leaves. Trainable as a single trunk or multi trunk specimen, it has a teddy bear trunk of hairy fibers and requires relatively little care. Ideal in a rock garden or as a tropical focal point, Windmill Palm is drought tolerant once established but will grow more quickly with regular water
