Bright Star Yucca is a beautiful variegated selection with flexible green and yellow striped leaves. A sport of Yucca gloriosa, it does not form hard bayonets like Spanish Dagger, and therefore is a slightly “friendlier” Yucca to plant in the landscape. Bright Star is an excellent way to bring color into the waterwise landscape, and during cold weather you may even get a lovely flash of its bright red stress color. Yuccas are extremely tough and require little supplemental water once established. Bright Star Yucca has showy white flowers that are attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Easy to care for when planted in well drained soil.
