Native to Brazil, Striped Furcraea are closely related to agave but are more tropical. Smooth leaved and spineless, they are friendlier plants that can be placed near walkways without danger. This selection has long broad leaves striped with beautiful cream colored variegation. Preferring cool, coastal sun. Inland they will appreciate morning light and afternoon dappled shade. Furcraea are sensitive to frost and should be protected from freezing temperatures below 25-30F.
