Firesticks Euphorbia is a striking succulent with narrow cylindrical branches that start green and blush bright red at the ends, especially during cool weather. Eventually forming a large bush, it somewhat resembles coral that you might expect to find under the sea. Stunning in a succulent garden, it is sensitive to frost and must be planted in a protected location. Irritating sap is expelled by this plant when it is trimmed or broken. It should be planted away from high traffic areas where it might be brushed against or bumped. During pruning, long sleeves, gloves and goggles should be worn. Cold hardy to 30-32F.
