Sharpblue Blueberry is a popular commercial variety which has been grown since the 1970’s. Heat tolerant and productive, its main harvest is in May and June however it can bear fruit off and on almost all year long and is nearly evergreen in mild climates. Strong growing and vigorous, it has low chill requirements and is self-pollinating. Prefers moist, well drained soil and will benefit from a heavy pruning in the second year to stimulate new growth on selected canes.
